The Cottage

Jasmine cottage was completed in 2006 and provides accommodation all on one level with every consideration for less able guests. There is a patio area for your use and ample parking.

The cottage offers a spacious, comfortable, open plan, living, / dining / kitchen area with a large panoramic window overlooking beautiful countryside. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave and fridge. There is central heating throughout. TV (via Free view) and DVD player are provided.

There are two bedrooms each with en-suite facilities. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and shower room and bedroom two has two single beds and a bathroom. A cot is available on request. Duvet and pillows are provided as is linen and towels.

The farm is set in 13 acres and is used mainly for equestrian activities. Guest are welcome to walk around the newly planted woodland areas, gardens and fields. Children can use the swing and climbing frame (but must be supervised at all times).

NB. We operate a no smoking policy and pets are not allowed inside the cottage. Our access statement is available on request.

Locally there are ample walks available in woodland and along cycle routes and open moor land. Historic villages such as Blanchland and Edmundbyers are close by. Weardale can be reached by a beautiful drive (or cycle) across the moors.

Jasmine cottage is available all year round. Current prices are:

Low season:   Jan - March & Nov - Dec:   £250 per week.

Mid Season:    April - May & Sept - Oct:   £300 per week

High Season:   July - Aug & Christmas / Easter:   £350 per week

Print out and complete the Booking Form (click here) to view and post this to us with your deposit cheque, to be received by us within seven days in order to secure the cottage. You will also need to sign the Conditions of Booking Form (click here).

We will send a receipt and confirm the date by which the balance must be paid (minimum six weeks prior to the start of your holiday) if you are booking for a period less than four weeks ahead , full payment must be made at the time of booking.

Short breaks: Outside the popular holiday period it may sometimes be possible to book the cottage for a long weekend or for a few days mid week, at short notice(less than two weeks ahead) Call us to check availability and prices.
